Educators contribute to the profession.
This year I have had the honour of working as a grade 7 teacher at Skeena Middle School. I have been able to volunteer at two events in the school district, The Dare to Dream band weekend and a dance hosted by Skeena Middle School. Although I have not been able to contribute much to the profession, I have witnessed many individuals in my school and throughout the district. These wonderful examples have led to my goal of contributing to the profession in the future.
- I want to start running fitness classes at Skeena Middle school for the staff.
- I would love to do professional development days surrounding students and health.
- Starting running girls’ volleyball clubs such as volleyball or basketball.
- Host a practicum student in the future.
